Dr. Yu received her BScH degree in Biology at Queen’s University and graduated Honours with Distinction. She was also involved in myopia research at the University of Calgary. She received her Master of Science degree at the University of Toronto with the Institute of Medical Science and did her research with a pediatric ophthalmologist at The Hospital for Sick Children. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo and graduated on the Dean’s Honours List.
