How soon can I return to work after PRESBYOND?
In an interview, Christoph Kranemann speaks about how soon you can return to work after PRESBYOND.
Christoph Kranemann: Most of the time, you can return to work within 24 hours.
Because of the initial dryness that you may experience, and because reading is going to be more affected by this dryness, sitting in an office environment in front of the computer, it can sometimes take a few days for your reading to be best. On a rare occasion, it might take a couple of weeks.
We see you on day one, and at one week. We will do whatever is necessary to facilitate the lubrication of the eyes and make sure that they are better sooner rather than later. Then, we typically check back with you at one month, and again at three months.
Of course, you’re welcome to contact us, and be seen if there is an issue. Generally, we expect that we can help you and resolve that issue. We will ensure that you’re comfortable, and able to work and function in your office work, or whatever else it is, within a week or so.
If you’re spending a lot of time on the computer, you may need to take a bit more rest than, say, if you were a landscaper.
